About make/shift
Make/shift magazine was founded in 2007 to create and document contemporary feminist culture and action by publishing journalism, critical analysis, and visual and text art. Made by an editorial collective committed to antiracist, transnational, and queer perspectives, make/shift embraces the multiple and shifting identities of feminist communities. The magazine ceased publication in summer 2017, after mailing out its 20th issue. A make/shift book is forthcoming from AK Press in fall 2018. More information at makeshiftmag.com.
