Join ONE Archives and trans art initiative TRANS•FORM’s queer orchestral collective, TRANS•POSITION, for an afternoon with local queer & trans artists in the orchestral world!
About the Event
TRANS•POSITION is a community-centered outdoor event bringing together artists, friends, family, neighbors, and community to take part in an afternoon concert with a repertoire curated for and by queer people.
The repertoire will include pieces by queer composer Ethyl Smith’s String Quartet in E minor and orchestral versions of Pink Pony Club and BAILE INoLVIDABLE. Bring friends, family, and community together to share and celebrate queer people and music. Enjoy a space to relax in a world that is consistently disrupting the simple peace that everyone seeks in their lives.

About ONE Archives
ONE Archives at the USC Libraries is the largest repository of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ+) materials in the world. Founded in 1952, ONE Archives houses millions of archival items, including periodicals, books, films, videos, audio recordings, photographs, artworks, organizational records, and personal papers. ONE Archives has been part of the University of Southern California Libraries since 2010.
About TRANS•FORM
As an organization, TRANS•FORM produces a multi-approach programming series. Rooted in transness, the series is a community-based drag and arts initiative for and by queer, trans, and nonbinary people. By bringing together queer & trans artists, resource organizations, performers, creatives, and vendors, TRANS•FORM works to build coalition within the Greater Los Angeles queer and trans community.
