Los Angeles, CA 90029

Abstract
Mondo Video A-Go-Go, which had its doors open from mid-1980s to the early 2000s, was then "the epicenter of weird shit" in Los Angeles, according to Lenora Claire, an MTV True Life producer and the self-proclaimed "Forrest Gump of LA counterculture." The store served as the unofficial headquarters of the LA underground, and outcasts who shared an affinity for punk, porn, and old-school Hollywood glamour congregated there.
